My client is a medium sized engineering consultancy who has been kicking goals for over 10 years! They deliver residential, commercial and industrial projects across land development, roading, structures and transportation. The Role:
 
Due to continued growth they require an experienced Senior Transportation Engineer to:

• Deliver integrated transportation assessments and provide transport planning inputs to master plans and structure plans for new residential and commercial growth areas.
• Deliver traffic modelling and analysis of all intersection forms.
• Carry out Safe System Audits, road safety investigations and undertake crash and safety analysis work.
• Provide input to/or lead road corridor and intersection design. Support projects at construction phase.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the team.
• Represent the business to clients and provide quality service to clients.

About You:
 

• MSQA experience 
• Relevant experience working for an engineering consultancy
• All round experience of the project lifecycle from design to construction
• Construction monitoring, project management, contracts administration
• Experience of being on site and being able to liaise with Contractors/Construction companies to ensure they are adhering to the design process.
• Degree or NZDE qualified
• Ability to liaise with and form relationships with contractors and local authority stakeholders
