Senior Civil Engineer – North Shore Auckland

Senior (or intermediate) Civil Engineer, North Shore, Auckland.
$120k- $160k – experience dependent 

(we also have a role with the same requirements in Tauranga)

They work on significant and complex projects across the country, and are looking to add some more experience with a Senior (or Intermediate) Civil Engineer in Auckland.

They design and deliver innovative and sustainable developments for a better New Zealand, building new communities where people love to live, and provide best practice solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
 
The role and current work

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
• Conducting engineering analysis and making critical decisions based on findings.
• Undertaking site inspections and mentoring/training more junior engineers on site.
• Reviewing and approving engineering designs and reports.
• Engaging with clients and stakeholders to manage project expectations.
• Project management of civil works projects, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Substantial amounts of work left on existing projects
• A number of ongoing large projects for a significant client
• Several large greenfield subdivisions in Private Plan Change or Resource Consent stages
• Several large consented projects just waiting for client approval to start detailed design
• Plenty of smaller projects at various stages of design or construction

About You

• You will have minimum 5-7 years New Zealand consultancy experience as a civil engineer
• May be CPEng (highly regarded)
• Experience in design
• Contract management and construction experience
• End to end planning and delivery of projects
• Experience of client engagement and delivery
