Remedy Resourcing is on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Professional Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure team in Auckland. This role offers the chance to work on exciting and varied projects, playing a key role in shaping the ongoing development of a dynamic infrastructure team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in driving project delivery, fostering client relationships, and working with a dedicated team to achieve strategic objectives.

Role:

  • Project Leadership: Spearhead major projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Strategic Cost Management: Provide expert advice on all aspects of quantity surveying, including cost planning, value engineering, risk management, and procurement to maximize project value and efficiency.
  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring their utmost satisfaction with services.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation in practices and processes, contributing to the company’s growth and reputation in the industry.

Requirements:

  • A seasoned professional with a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related discipline, coupled with significant experience in a Senior Quantity Surveying role.
  • Strong technical skills and industry experience, proficient in first principles estimation, with sound knowledge and application of construction methodologies.
  • Exceptionally skilled in communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Highly organized and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
