Remedy Resourcing is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a reputable construction team in Canterbury for a large-scale projects
As a key leader, you will collaborate closely with the Quantity Surveyor and Site Manager on commercial build projects. Your role will be essential in driving the success of the team and ensuring the project’s success.

Duties

  • Strategically plan and manage all aspects of the construction project.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain high service quality.
  • Develop and oversee construction programmes.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Promote and ensure Health & Safety in all project aspects.
  • Lead cost control and budget reporting.
  • Meet Key Performance Objectives of the project.
  • Focus on quality and sustainability.
  • Ensure adherence to construction methodology, policies, procedures, and relevant codes.
  • Lead and work effectively with the Site Manager and build team alongside the Quantity Surveyor.

About You

  • At least 3 years of project management experience in New Zealand or Australia.
  • Over 6 years of construction experience.
  • Experience in commercial builds.
  • Heritage build experience is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven planning and program management experience.
  • Expertise in Health and Safety leadership.
  • Strong negotiation and financial management skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
