Since opening their doors at the back end of last year, the firm is still very much in its infancy. As a result this brings an exciting opportunity for lawyers who are seeking interesting work, whilst looking to move up the ranks quickly.
The Opportunity
Due to continued success, their commercial and private advisory team require a 2-3 year PAE lawyer to assist both the Director and Special Counsel with their busy practice.
You will be involved in supporting a wide variety of clients including family groups, individuals, business owners and private companies. You’ll regularly work and collaborate with accountants and financial planners to ensure the client’s personal, business and succession needs are met.
Whats Required
Candidates will need the following experience:
- 2-3 years PAE experience in a commercial law environment
- Exposure to business sales, share/unit transactions, restructures, corporate advisory work or similar transactional matters.
- Interest in structuring advice, including companies, trusts, partnerships, shareholder/unit holder arrangements and related governance considerations.
- Ability to assist with corporate governance matters, including company secretarial work, resolutions, consents, ASIC requirements and director/shareholder approvals.
- Keen for mentorship by experienced practitioners with a genuine interest in progressing to the next stage
