Site Supervisor – Queenstown

The Company

Projects are large-scale, technically complex residential builds, with the occasional light commercial project providing further variety. Staff turnover is low, and people tend to stay long term — a reflection of how well the company is run.

The Role
As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. You’ll work closely with the Site Manager and wider project team to keep projects moving and maintain exceptional build standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities on high-end residential projects
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage site workflows
• Monitor quality and ensure works are delivered to specification
• Support programme tracking and assist with keeping projects on schedule
• Enforce health & safety requirements and site compliance
• Identify and resolve site issues before they impact programme or quality
• Communicate effectively with the Site Manager and project team

About You

• 3+ years’ experience in a Site Supervisor or Foreman role within residential or high-quality construction
• Strong understanding of NZ building practices and regulations
• Confident supervising subcontractors and trades on site
• Good organisational and communication skills
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Motivated to progress your career within a quality-focused business

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Trade-qualified carpenter or relevant construction qualification
• Site Safe / First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
