This role requires a senior property lawyer with a strong client following and a passion for delivering results, to help drive continued success.

  • National practice with high quality work
  • Attractive salary and bonuses
  • Collaborative and forward-thinking culture

This is a rare opportunity to join a reputable national practice with a strong presence in the property and commercial space.

You will play a key role in the strategic growth of the practice, with the support of a progressive equity group.

About You:

The ideal person will currently be a top-end senior associate, feeling limited in your current firm, where partnership may not be achievable or meaningful, and looking for a platform where your contribution is recognised and your growth is supported. Alternatively, this role would suit someone who is already sitting at a partnership level, however not feeling valued at their current practice, and wanting to explore your options.

You will work across a broad range of matters including:

  • Residential and commercial property acquisitions, disposals, and developments
  • Commercial leasing for both landlords and tenants
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases, agreements for lease, contracts for sale, deeds, licences, and other related documents
  • Advising a diverse client base including landlords, tenants, vendors, purchasers, and developers

You will bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ post-admission experience in property law
  • A broad background in property matters, including leasing, acquisitions, disposals, and developments
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • A commercially focused mindset
  • A genuine interest in a leadership role
  • A solution-oriented approach with the ability to identify and manage legal and commercial risk
  • A portable client base (ideally $500k+)
  • A natural inclination toward business development and the drive to grow an already successful practice
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships

What We Offer

  • A collaborative, forward-thinking culture, and inclusive workplace
  • A practice that values you, your mental health and gender equality
  • Work-life balance, helping you maintain a healthy and positive relationship between your personal and professional life
  • Support from a progressive equity group that values innovation and growth
  • A chance to build your practice with the backing of a well-established brand
