About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing projects from early design through to practical completion. This is a hands-on position requiring close collaboration with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading project planning, procurement, and contract management
- Managing budgets, cost control, and reporting
- Developing and maintaining project programmes
- Driving strong health & safety practices on site
- Building positive, long-term relationships across project stakeholders
About You
We’re looking for someone with solid commercial construction experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be a natural leader with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on quality delivery.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction (NZ-based, ideally design & build)
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence using MS Suite & MS Project; Procore/Jobpac experience a bonus
- A collaborative work style and ability to motivate construction teams
- Flexibility to travel Mon–Fri if required
