 Your Role
- Provide Project management, engineering and civil design services for a wide range of Land Development and Design projects
 - Ensure the smooth running and completion of Projects to the specified time and cost, within the quality framework
 - Provide Project and Project budget updates
 - Ensure effective overall management of site including operations, scheduling & financial, including progress payments, budget control and preparing invoices
 - Ensure effective contract administration and management throughout to completion,
 - Prepare and evaluate bids and tenders in
 - Liaison with company Project Managers, Project Contractors, service providers, suppliers, local authorities and iwi.
 - Provide Project and Project budget updates
 - Provide engineering input from initial investigation stage through to design, construction, final reporting and follow up enquiries
 - Prepare civil engineering design drawings and calculations
 
Prepare engineering reports for land use and sub-division consent applications
- Monitor bulk earthworks, including supervision, testing and reporting
 - Monitor civil works, including supervision, testing and reporting
 - Carry out site specific assessments for servicing and development
 - Prepare schedules of quantities, estimates and programmes
 - Research and prepare due diligence and/or feasibility reporting
 - Prepare proposals of service with service fees
 
  
 About You
  
- Experience in phases of project management relating to the construction of retaining walls, earthworks, precast concrete, drainage and general civil works is essential
 - Minimum of 3 years’ post graduate civil engineering and land development experience, including earthworks, roading and the 3 waters, and structural and building design
 - Qualification – Bachelor’s Degree of Civil Engineering or NZ equivalent
 - Proven track record of working successfully within a team to deliver upon operational objectives and exceed client expectations
 - Proven experience in: preparing cost estimations, quotations, contract documentation, and bills of quantities; report writing; compiling and evaluating tenders
 - A track record of generating solutions to progress client projects
 - Intermediate level of proficiency in civil design software, and Microsoft Office products including MS Project, Word and Excel
 - Clean driver’s licence
