About the Role:

We’re seeking a talented and motivated Planning & Environment lawyer to join a nationally recognised team in Sydney. This role offers a mix of advisory and litigation work, supporting a diverse client base.

You’ll be involved in matters ranging from development approvals and land use advice to environmental compliance, planning agreements, and contributions. While disputes work is part of the role, it’s balanced with strategic advisory work that helps shape major projects and policy outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate who’s ready to take the next step in their career, with genuine support for growth and development.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Advising clients on planning approvals, land use, environmental compliance, and contributions.
• Drafting and negotiating planning agreements and related documentation.
• Representing clients in disputes across various court levels (as required).
• Mentoring junior team members (for Senior Associate level).

About You

• 3–6 years PAE in Planning & Environment law.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to client service.
