Legal Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
Small family law firm, based in the Hills district, in need of a part-time legal admin assistant with strong organisational and time-management skills

The practice covers the full spectrum of family law matters; from parenting and property disputes to divorce, financial agreements, and domestic violence matters.
The Opportunity:
This is a key support role that ensures the smooth running of operations in a part-time capacity.
This position is ideal for:

You’ll be trusted with a wide range of responsibilities and will play an integral part in keeping the practice running efficiently behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to solicitors, including diary management, expense processing, and client communications.
- Schedule and coordinate expert calls, client meetings, and court appearances.
- Manage document workflows: formatting, filing, labelling, and preparing legal materials with accuracy and care.
- Draft, finalise, and file court documents, client correspondence, and audit responses.
- Assist with billing processes: prepare invoices, respond to billing queries, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate client and matter information using legal practice management systems.
What You Bring:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a legal administrative or legal assistant role or current enrolment in a law degree with strong administrative skills and a keen interest in family law.
- Familiarity with legal billing processes and practice management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel) and legal software applications.
- Experience with NSW court procedures is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a genuine interest in supporting a team that makes a difference in people’s lives.
