Construction Manager – Lead Multi-Million Dollar Developments
Remedy Resourcing has partnered with a respected developer to recruit an experienced Construction Manager to lead delivery of large-scale, multi-stage projects. With a significant pipeline secured, this role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in shaping high-value developments while working with a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

In the Role As Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for the full on-site delivery of major projects, ensuring programme, budget, safety, and quality targets are achieved. You will be the key driver of site operations, setting the standard and leading from the front.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Site Leadership: Directing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring productivity, teamwork, and accountability.
- Programme Management: Developing, updating, and reporting against project programmes in MS Project; identifying risks and opportunities; implementing mitigation strategies to keep works on track.
- Health & Safety Leadership: Driving a culture of safety, conducting site inspections, toolbox meetings, and audits, and ensuring compliance with legislation and internal systems.
- Quality & Compliance: Overseeing workmanship, QA processes, code compliance, and documentation to achieve handover standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with consultants, local authorities, designers, and internal project teams to resolve challenges and maintain project momentum.
- Resource & Budget Control: Monitoring budgets, managing procurement, and optimising resources to ensure efficient delivery.
- Reporting & Governance: Preparing regular progress reports, attending project control meetings, and ensuring transparency with senior management.
About You
You will bring a proven track record in managing complex projects with strong leadership and commercial awareness. Specifically, you’ll have:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Site Manager, Construction Manager, or equivalent
- Demonstrated success delivering medium-to-large scale developments in New Zealand
- Current LBP licence and Site Safe Supervisor accreditation (minimum)
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, and Excel (Procore experience an advantage)
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- A strong commitment to health & safety and quality outcomes
