Bookkeeping Senior Manager (Associate Director)

This exciting opportunity will see you manage a team of experienced offshore staff whilst overseeing an established, varied portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise, coach, mentor, and train the bookkeeping team, including Team Leaders.
• Manage resource allocation according to team skills and client needs.
• Conduct high-level reviews to identify and resolve inconsistencies promptly.
• Oversee accurate and timely reconciliations of bank accounts, payroll processing, and statutory reporting (PAYGW, PAYGI, BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, TPAR, Superannuation).
• Ensure compliance with all statutory deadlines and client requirements.
• Provide ongoing professional development and training for bookkeeping staff.
• Lead onboarding and induction processes for new staff.

About you:

• Ideally 6 + years’ experience in Bookkeeping, preferably in public practice
• Experience supervising concurrent account production for several clients.
• Able to quickly familiarise themselves with new software or updated software and able to integrate to other software as necessary
• Advanced Skills with XERO
• Intermediate to advanced skills with MYOB, QuickBooks or equivalent.
• Prior supervision of 2 or more staff including ability to delegate and review work.
• Intermediate Word and Excel skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines for multiple clients
• XERO Advisor Certification.
• XERO Payroll Certification.
