The Role
Due to continued growth in their commercial litigation team, the firm are now seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation lawyer with a minimum of three PAE.
You will work closely with two busy litigation partners who have a diverse practice of work from general commercial litigation, B&C, Insolvency & Debt Recovery, Trade Restraints, Professional Negligence, and much more.
Necessary experience for the role will include:
- High level drafting experience including pleadings, applications and supporting affidavits, statutory demands and commercial disputes etc
- Advising and representing clients in a range of matters such as Insolvency and Bankruptcy, contractual disputes, property and leasing disputes, debt recovery, building and construction disputes
- Court appearances and representations – including briefing and instructing counsel to conduct appearances.
- Positive attitude with a high emphasis being placed on competency.
This would be an ideal role for someone who is currently a lawyer looking to step up to an Associate level, or for someone already at an Associate level who is looking for better perks and wanting to join a firm for the longterm.
