The Firm

The Role
Due to continued growth in their commercial litigation team, the firm are now seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation lawyer with a minimum of three years PAE experience upwards.
You will work closely within their a Brisbane litigation team that can offer you a very diverse practice of work from general commercial litigation, B&C, Insolvency & Debt Recovery, Trade Restraints, Professional Negligence etc etc.
Necessary experience for the role will include:
- High level drafting experience including pleadings, applications and supporting affidavits, statutory demands and commercial disputes etc
- Advising and representing clients in a range of matters such as Insolvency and Bankruptcy, contractual disputes, property and leasing disputes, debt recovery, building and construction disputes
- Court Appearances and representations – including briefing and instructing counsel to conduct appearances.
- Positive attitude with a high emphasis being placed on competency.
- Around three years PAE up to a Senior Associate level.
