CFO Advisory Consultant

Key points: 

• Own the integrity and reliability of financial reporting across your client portfolio
• Translate financial performance into clear commercial insight
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis and performance reviews
• Participate in client discussions around funding strategy, growth planning, pricing and hiring decisions
• Support bank reporting and capital planning conversations
• Help business owners strengthen accountability, improve systems and scale sustainably

Working directly with the clients you will influence they:

• Fund their next stage of growth
• Hire key roles
• Protect margin
• Improve cashflow
• Make strategic decisions

About you:

• 3+ years’ experience in management accounting, business services or commercial finance
• The ability to interpret financial results and explain them clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Experience preparing management reports with meaningful commentary, not just extracting data
• Exposure to client-facing conversations
• Working knowledge of budgeting or cashflow forecasting
• Strong cloud accounting capability such as Xero
• Attention to detail paired with commercial awareness
