We are currently recruiting for fall levels of Surveyors for roles in Tauranga, but also:

• Auckland
• Wellington
• Christchurch

We are working with leading consulting engineering firms to find all levels of experienced Surveyors, opportunities are New Zealand wide with excellent salaries, benefits, career progression, training and development on offer. 

Requirements:

For Surveyors – 5+ years Licensed or approaching LCS or Senior non LCS with skills/experience in:

• Experience as a Cadastral Surveyor in a commercial environment
• Cadastral survey work including boundary definition, traversing and placement of boundary pegs
• Good knowledge of MSOffice; Trimble Survey equipment and 12d Model software
• Have a thorough understanding of the Rules for Cadastral Survey; LINZ Guidelines; and Good Survey Practice
• Survey calculations and survey data management including populating survey models; data transfer; reduction of field observations; and measurements
• Prepare survey plans and associated data for lodgement with LINZ using Landonline
• Preparation of consent applications and reports to Councils
• Pricing and preparation of survey proposals to Clients
• Manage client relationships and leading projects from bid stage through to delivery
• Understanding of GNSS, robotic total stations, Landonline and survey software
• The ability to work within time and budget
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Keep current all required licences
• Be informed and knowledgeable of legislation, standards and local body district plan requirements
