The Role:
  
They are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer who is either chartered or on their way to being chartered for hands-on work to design, review and sign off (chartered) a range of residential and commercial projects.

• Provide cost effective and accurate outcomes that meet client expectations
• Communicate well with a range of people (colleagues, clients, landowners, councils, public)
• Exercise professional judgement, critical thinking and decision making
• Handle tasks with minimum supervision
• Understand instructions and turn them into positive results
• Gain additional skills and add value to self and the role within the company
• Manage major/complex projects in defined specialisation
• Manage multiple projects or contracts within time and budget
• Contribute to a diverse team of employees to achieve desired outcomes
• Develop and maintain business relationships with customers
• Understanding of broader business issues and other disciplines beyond core discipline(s)

  
About You:

Maybe you in a role with a good company, but you want a career with a great company!? You will have:

• Chartered Professional Engineer with a minimum of 10 years’ structural engineering experience, including NZ seismic design
• Ability to carry out hands-on work to design, review and sign off (chartered) a range of residential and commercial projects
• A great attitude and sense of humour!

  
The Benefits:

• Negotiable base salary $120,000 – $150,000
